Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a comprehensive, individualized approach to understanding and supporting your health—particularly when it comes to fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. My approach is focused on identifying underlying imbalances, using targeted testing when appropriate, and creating a plan that is specific to your body and your goals.
A Deeper Look at Fertility
Fertility is complex, and there is rarely a single factor involved.
Naturopathic care allows us to look more closely at hormonal patterns, metabolic health, and other underlying contributors that may impact your ability to conceive.
This approach is especially valuable for those who:
- Want a more in-depth understanding of their fertility
- Have not found clear answers
- Have been told everything is “normal” but still struggle
Thoughtful, Targeted Testing
Testing is used intentionally to better understand your physiology and guide treatment decisions.
This may include:
- Cycle day 2–3 hormone labs
- mid-luteal progesterone
- Thyroid function
- DHEA-S and androgen levels
- Diurnal cortisol testing (adrenal function)
- Metabolic and nutrient markers
- Advanced sperm testing, including DNA fragmentation
When appropriate, I also coordinate diagnostic imaging such as pelvic ultrasound, testicular ultrasound, hysterosalpingogram (HSG), and refer for further evaluation when needed.
Individualized Treatment
Treatment plans are tailored based on your history, your labs, and how your body responds over time.
Care may include:
- Nutritional support
- Targeted supplementation
- Hormonal support and regulation
- Prescription medications when indicated, such as ovulation induction (letrozole or clomiphene), progesterone, thyroid medication, or cycle regulation
- Lifestyle and cycle-specific guidance
- Ongoing adjustments based on progress
This allows for a more precise, responsive approach to care.
Male Fertility Support
Sperm health and quality play a significant role in infertility, and are often under-addressed.
I work with male partners and sperm donors to evaluate and improve sperm health, including factors such as count, motility, morphology, and DNA integrity. With targeted treatment, meaningful improvements can often be seen within a relatively short timeframe.
Integrative, Collaborative Care
I work alongside reproductive endocrinologists, OB/GYNs, midwives, and other providers to ensure your care is well-coordinated.
Whether you are trying to conceive naturally or undergoing IUI or IVF, naturopathic care can complement and support your overall treatment plan.
A More Personalized Experience
Care is intentionally one-on-one, with time dedicated to understanding your full health picture.
This allows for continuity, deeper insight, and a level of attention that is often not possible in larger healthcare systems.
What to Expect
Your First Visit
Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation of your health history, fertility journey, and any previous testing.
From there, we create a clear, individualized plan that may include additional testing, treatment, and ongoing support.
Care evolves over time—so you always feel guided, informed, and supported.
